Mavro Kalavritino

Image of Mavro Kalavritino

Mavro Kalavritino is a grape indigenous to the mountainous Aigialeia region of northern Greece. It produces age-worthy single-varietal wines, however its strong tannic structure makes it good blending partner. Generally captures both red and black fruit flavours along with a nice florally-spicy element.
